The Lost Generation
To the teenaged girl
who is about to have another child
not because she’s a thot
but because she sells her body to the public
because she feels alone and unloved in this world
That’s because she never had a mom or a dad that was there
She was always alone….looking for love and “affection”
To the lost generation
To the boy that joined a gang to avoid being called a scary little bitch
By the ones who claim their going to “Hold him down”
They were the same ones who told him to pop that nigga on the block
For his “gang acceptance”
To the lost generation
To the girl that’s suicidal
She’s the one who sits in the back of the class at school
She’s the one everyone downgrades
Called ugly, stank, and stupid
her parents say it
But that ironic because “daddy” always loves her
But he shows it in a different way
Sexual abuse
Silts her wrist
Cry’s to sleep
Suicide attempt
To the lost generation
We are the ones who fade in the background
For we are the sinking Titanic’s
For we are the lost generation
