Answered Prayer from a Voice Inside

All alone, lost and afraid

Not knowing where to go.

With no place to call home

Always running, every day.

Hope is gone, feeling betrayed

Deserted and on your own.

A gentle breeze begins to blow,

A whispering voice, it calls your name.

Eyes light up, but no one is there,

The voice comes from inside.

"Don't fear, you're not alone."

Could this be an answered prayer?

"Stop your running, no need to hide.

Follow Me, I'll lead you home."
