Losing my Little One

I loved you from the start and thought that we'd never be apart

Seeing you before birth was a tearing moment for your dad and I

Getting ready for your arrival ; setting up your baby crib

Looking down  thinking something bad  will happen as time flies by

Rushed to a room they delivered the news I started to cry

I realized there's no need to cry 'cause you are up in the sky

I am still shocked from the news that day couldn't get it out of my mind

Months pasted by and  your room is still there decorated for you my dear

Daddy repeatedly saying we will be okay for now

Crying myself to sleep in your daddy's arms wishing you were here

Thinking to myself about a baby; having so much fear

I'll see you someday my dear
