Long Roads and Wrong Turns

So I've made a wrong turn,
I've burned my bridges, just to watch them burn.
I've lost some friends,
And I've burned my candle at both ends.

But this life is too short for regret,
I do what I do and I get what I get.
Nothing stops me now as nothings stopped me then,
And keep in mind, it's not if, it's when.

When you see me, cast your judgement,
See my tattooed skin; I'm offensive without intent.
Nothing will stop me, this is what makes me happy.
I'll smile because you'll frown when you see me.

It's a long road, but it will get me there,
My skin shows the scenic route, the end is nowhere near.
Remember, we will all end up six feet under,
So who cares if it's sunshine or thunder?
