Rain rain come again,
I think I need a new friend;
All mine have seemed to slip away.

Let the thunder rock me
Into the deep,
Into a sleep where I'll never weep.
As the lighting crashes,
So does my heart,
Each new flash like beautiful art.

So rain rain come again,
I’m sick of trying to pretend,
That everything’s okay,
That everything’s all right.
I'm giving up,
I've quit the fight.

Rain rain come again,
You truly are,
My dearest friend...
