Little Times

A little rhyme for the little times, the time that pass by without batting an eye,

Let me sigh, let me sit, let me think a little bit,

Have a little chat with the little bat, with the little fly, with the little sky,

I see you with my eyes, now let me see you with my mind,

Your wings help you fly, your eyes big and wide, your blue a reflection of the ocean below you,

There's no hidden meaning today, this is just a rhyme, for when I want to make a poem, and I don't know why,

There's nothing to write, there's nothing going on, but I am a bit bored, and the day is a bit long,

So I'll sit and sing a song, all day long, about a bee and a tree, or a sea and some tea,

Make a song, make it rhyme, make the world into an eye, make the world into a sigh, make the world apart of your mind,

Thinking doesn't have to be deep, thinking doesn't have to be steep, thinking can be mellow, thinking can be pretty like a bright red stiletto,

Make a poem, make a rhyme, make a quote that isn't defined by lines, make a sun shine that hid behind a mine,

Maybe it'll explode! Maybe it'll implode, maybe it'll be something you never saw before,

But it's your rhyme, and it's your down time, so make something of it, bcecause in the end you'll probably love it.
