A Little Girl Named Megan

Long ago
Short quiet
vibrant little one
pranced along a lonely
road without reason or
apprehention as to what
or why they did what they
do. To earn a friendship
is to give up your life and
hand it to someone else
A sweet sacrfice ripped
between two halves
bounded together
by loyalty.
But I misunderstood
the concept
Stepped back and
observed
Watched them play
and began to understand
what binds people
and why they come back
to you each day
Kindness is a virtue
and it has earned me many
friends and given me trust
in them and confiance in myself
