Little Girl

Little girl, little girl
do you know who you are?

A beautiful stallion in Gods backyard

Little girl, little girl
Do you know what you can be?

The president, a lawyer, or even a captain of a ship at sea

Little girl, little girl
Why are you blessed?

Because my scars are my rewards for trying my best
The Lord saw fit that I could bring forth life
I'm the soul of the nation, and the light of the world
I am the lost seashell that provides the pearl

Little girl, little girl
will you continue to fight?

I will fight for the right, for my sisters to take flight
we will see more than society will provide
we will blow kisses at the haters that want us shot from the sky

Little girl, little girl
do you love who you are?

Of course I love me

And that’s where it starts

Little girl, little girl

What can you see?

My womanly stature, bright future, and insecure-free reflection, looking back at me
