Listen to the Birds

The chirps, the squeaks, the hoots

Bright sunny day

They swoop all around

Up and down

To the ground the sit

Sipping on water

From storms they departed

But back again

Carrying daisies and lilies

The cry out with glee

Finally free from

Agony and gloom

Cloudy days

Thunder striking upon all that is known

Find shelter for she’s brewing

Stirred up and hot

Her clouds fall heavy

Bearing down all that she has

Nature has spoken.

Back to sunny days

The birds return.
