Light

I saw the light and it was bright, but not as bright as our first night. The stars shined boldly and cut the dark and filled my soul and warmed my heart. But, when you left I cried all day and tried my best to make you stay, despite how much I begged, you left and took with you my final breath. My body lives, but I do not. You broke my heart on that spot. Soon the heart that beat a tragic tone found its heartbeat calm and slow, my body faded as did my heart until my body fell apart. My lifeless body then joined my soul and I was put in a six foot hole. When I died I saw the light and for the last time the light was bright.
