Life Redefined

The last whole year, a giant blur to me.

Ask me about specific happenings,

And I'll recount them to you faithfully.

While not all bad, 'Twenty was saddening.

Thinking about the past, the fun we had

Trapped in the house with there nothing to do

Who knew I would want it all back so bad.

‘Twenty ruined senior year, this is true.

Senior year is supposed to be special,

But I have nothing of this feeling to share

It seems I have been trapped in a locked vessel

Forced to block everything out, no care.

Thinking about life with all it’s freedom

It seems our way of life has been redone

This poem is about:
Me
Our world
