Life is magical

Walking in the woods one afternoon,
I chanced upon a patch of Vervain.
It’s blossoms were clustered together,
Heads close to one another,
As if ready to swoon.

Transfixed, I stood there,
Captivated by those alluring blooms.
Each dressed in purple, with petals five,
Seemingly plain and simple, yet beautiful,
With a disposition that few others can compare.

Life is filled with such moments magical,
When our paths cross something ordinary.
It is up to us to realize, that it really isn’t.
Everything about life is extraordinary!
Life is a mysterious, unfathomable puzzle.
