Life Long Friendships

All booked a flight,

Special one to the Far East,

Four of us together,  for a laugh,

Land of Smiles calling.

Drinks a plenty,

Asking the long haul crew,

Drinks a plenty,

Memories come flooding back for you.

Grew up together,

Right from Primary,

Played football and team sports together,

Happily.

You were the first to reach puberty,

Amongst all of us,

You were the first to have sex,

Amongst all of us.

You were my friend,

Through and through,

When you asked me to back you up that time,

I said yes, lets see this through.

Beaten up a man,

Racially commenting,

Against your mixed raced younger brother,

Naughty middle aged thing.

Kicked the crap out of him,

Good and proper,

A week later to be found,

Stalking you and I together.

Warning you not to do that again,

Threatening finger,

Pointed at your head,

'Don't do that again.'

Relieve and joy,

We didn't get beaten up,

Who was his mate with the metal pole?

He looked a little stuck up.

Go and see the rest of the gang,

Share,

The scary story,

He was going to bang.

Intrigued and relieved,

We agree,

To chip in,

For some mead.

As you look oldest,

You have to go the off license,

They recognise,

You.

Drunk and happy,

Down the park and merry,

Kiss the girls,

Fingerblast many.
