Life Isn't About Knowing Where You're Going

Thu, 02/27/2014 - 18:29 -- Amera
Sometimes, I feel very small and lonely
Thinking about the billions of stars in this galaxy,
Sometimes, it feels like I am the only
One who cares 'bout it, the kid full of curiosity

Yesterday, I aspired to be an
Astronaut, an artist, a scientist, a musician,
Today, I'll just walk where the curved road can
Turn to new discoveries about life and my life's plan

Let go of my wild creativity,
I need to understand all about this string theory
And of general relativity,
What's a life without learning something new every single day?

You asked me what I wanted to be? Well...
I learned that life is a wild, confusing ride through blue,
I'll figure it out when I get there soon,
But for now, I'll think of what I can do

All I know is that I'd like to make a
Difference, walk a curving road and somehow pave a way
I want to achieve what I can today,
And work on tomorrow's brand new challenges right away

I like to dance and I like to sing songs
With a meaning--a purpose that's is most clearly defined,
I will seek and search for where I belong,
And leave a purposeful legacy behind when I die
