Life Is...
Sometimes I get overwhelmed thinking about growing up. I used to be a carefree kid but now I'm an adult and I have responsibilites and bills and the like. But I find solice in knowing all those who have gone before. Life is, in fact, a big circle. So I don't have to worry and fret about falling off the end- I have security in the formula that life has before me. I am inspired by those brothers and sisters who are older than me and are "doing it", "making it", and making an impact. I wish to do the same, so I write lyrics with the wish that I also inspire someone with hope and calmness about the future.
Life is... bittersweet.
A new baby cries
as an old man sighs
for the very last time.
Life is... fast and short.
When we say goodbye,
wonder should I die
how will you remember me?
Life is... well misused.
In the depths of thought
all the malice wrought,
instead of joy, we plot.
Life is... quite unkown.
See a stranger there
would I even dare-
to know all they have lost?
Life is... drenched in white.
Oh, that blinding light
and the darkest night
and they dance, their sacred dance.
Life is... meant to be.
When you can't go on
think of those who've gone,
they made it through for you.
