Nothing to lose trying to gain everything
Can you blame me
Learning the motions of life by myself
Seeing things but im too young
Told the truth didnt bite my tongue
Always been my own, had to stand strong
Motherless child, we were both children
Cant help me now mama
I remember
Born in a blizzard, cold baby like December
Born in february but I dont know love
See mama was in high school
Daddy was a dealer
In and out of jail he a rolling stone
In and out
Highs and lows
Never knew true happiness just shoes and clothes
God help me
Hard headed, motherless child
Passed on, throwed around
Been down so much whats the sky from the ground
Cant tell the silence from the sound
Pick myself up off the ground
Im down again
Hospital room I was sure this was my tomb
Woke up from death inside my room
I shouldnt have went but I did
Now consequences are what Im with
Im handling it I swear I am
Family supposed to look out for me man damn
Got me fending for myself
Pill bottles and ice bags
Trying to think it gets better from here
Cant find a lawyer what now
Trying to find the answer I found hope
Remember my courage, writing my fate
When I die remember the date
Made nothing out of something
What I had was nothing but something to me
Little Lou in college and got something to be
