lies from the leader

the thick black taste comes in on a wave

spills inside & steals the life

fills us with heat that seems to make us weak

begging now for a moment's peace

he told us it'd feel so good

& I expected so much more

we shot it straight into our blood

& it left us dying on the floor

he told us it was safe & surefire

& sent the men out to the streets

no one dares to call him a liar

so now we march to our defeat

he told us it'd feel so good

& I expected so much more

we shot it straight into our blood

& it left us dying on the floor
