Lies Etched In

He smiles so bright,

Convinced that he lives in light,

But his soul is dead

His arms weep tears of red.

Lies etched in deep.

Dead eyes weep.

Lines carved in his arm,

Strength comes from the harm.

Look into his eyes,

The eyes of a man far too wise.

A man who sees too much,

Afraid for his heart to be touched.

The Demons screaming in his head,

Convincing him that he should be dead.

Peeling apart his mind,

Twisting a man who once was kind.

See what Fate has made?

A man filled with Hate,

And eyes filled with white-hot pain.

His soul, marked with a dark stain.
