Letting you go

I'll just go on with my life,
The way I'm suppose to.
I never wanted to be the one to expose you,
And embarrass you the way you made a fool me.
You've been the inspiration to all my poetry,
And although ill miss the creativity you instilled in me,
My dignity is worth much more than your treachery.
I couldn't resist your smile if I tried
but not this time, Valentine.
I'm freeing you from my mind and letting you go.
