Letting it Out

Location

When summer is gone

and carefreeness bends

comes school, books, responsibility;

stress never ends

So many of us

find ways to cope:

running, drawing, or crying

for those I have no hope

What my soul needs

to put it at ease

is some beautiful sheet music.

My mind is appeased.

When I sing a song

heat warms my body

and a perfect note

can loveliness embody.

So when stress arrives

And I think I can't make it

I engulf in music

and it calms my spirit.
