A letter to My Grandparents

Sat, 02/10/2018 - 11:23 -- gottuke

Dear my grandparents,

Hi, how’s it been

It’s been awhile since we spoke

But hey that’s not my discipline

Your the ones who decided to disown me

And not because I did anything wrong

Not because my sister did anything wrong

Not because my father did anything wrong

Not because my brother did anything wrong

Oh wait in your eyes he’s a she

I guess you do believe

That he did do something wrong

And you left us all to rot for it

Because we actually accepted this is how he belonged

We actually understood he was suffering

But you know that’s still on me

I wish you stuck around a little longer to see

how you caused my mother’s breakdown

You could have supported her

Rather you blamed her for my brothers transgressions

You could have finally started to learn

But there’s a few things I need to catch you up on

I’m glad you left when you did

My sister brought her girlfriend home just soon after you hid

You would have thought they were the best of pals

Till they started making out on the couch

Oh and I can’t wait to someday bring home mine

Cause as much as you tried

I’m in love with female kind

You can tell me im headed to hell

You can tell me my life is sin

You can tell me i’m mentally insane

And need conversion therapy

But one thing's for sure

My lifes better since you disowned me

And i’m happy to be free

So stay away in your shelter

Don't try and make nice

Your a toxic disease

That kills my perfect paradise
