Lets Take A Walk

Lets walk down to the corner of broken bottles littered
by crack heads preaching the same word your pastor does,
Lets cross the street to the lustful models showing off there
designer pieces to break off a piece to the next money slinger,
As we wait for the light, Take a look at these hood entrepreneurs
sell that dope to these fiends who would do anything for the
cream so that needle can part right between veins of low self
esteem, And as that light turn opposite of green, The signal
to walk travels us too late night niggas of all shades, Ignorant
fuckers that stand security job lengths of time in the bodega
light, Look at them, Just looking for a fight and all it takes is
for you too look in there line of sight, Lets make a right on this
block, Welcome to the neighborhood, Cracked windows boarded,
The surroundings of these houses just scream we can't afford it,
Hey here's my car, Jump in let me show you where I stay with
my kin, We're here, What? ha ha.. It looks white? What does
that mean, No my brother, This is what it looks like when you
leave the hood and leave your dream, Leave them fiends where
they wanna be, They ain't looking to get a degree, There fine
and content selling there drugs and giving up pussy, You can only
help so much, And after a while you gotta do whats good for you
and never give that up, Live your life full and keep your head up.
