Let's Rhyme
It came out of the blue my newfound desire to rhyme
I figured that it would be better than committing a crime
The first poems I wrote weren’t worth much more than a dime I greatly appreciate you for giving me your time
I wanted to find something I’m good at while still in my prime Because I knew I wouldn’t be good at a career as a mime
I was hoping profusely to make my imagination climb
Then a heard a faint bell that sounded like a chime
And it sparked my interest to work on this before bedtime
This poem is about:
Me
