Let Me, If You Will, Escape My Destiny

Location

Let me slip away

from this

earth.

My soul has

endured

too much.

My heart has

been broken

from the evils of this

world.

Let me gasp in the

glory of your

kingdom

and forget my

troubled

past.

Please forgive me

for,

ending this life

early.

 As I stumble

from the edge.

Let me fly one

last time.

With the wind between my

hair.

I hope to close my eyes

and see your face...

Unless, it's true

and you won't forgive me,

for escaping my fate.
