The sterling silver and stripped car,
with the squealing high pitched sound.
May it break on a back road away very far
and leave him stranded, never found.
The boy who tried that morning to hit me,
sped away like he did nothing wrong.
But in my eyes the car can never be unseen,
and my ears will remember the muffler's song.
Let the boy lose his license,
and his muscles in his arms.
Until he gains some common sense,
to never lay a hand on a girl in harm.
