I'm abandoned,

Not a stuffed teddy bear left in a foreclosed house trapped in the back of a dusty closet

abandoned,

Not a stray dog left on the street to fend for itself abandoned,

Not abandoned like a five year old whose father walked out on their family without a word,

But socially abandoned,

Abandoned that my so called friends left me to do all of "our" work,

Abandoned that everyone is working against me, especially time,

Abandoned that those who were supposed to be there for me have suddenly disappeared.
