Leave Me
Woe to me this dreary world
Has taken all that I have known and left me with dust
With nothing but tears to shed and heartache to feel
But oh, how I pray that it may not last
Those before me are long and gone
Only now remainders of the past
What strength I must muster
To turn this utter despair into gold
This heaviness bears its cruel body onto my chest
And dare not leave until I gasp for air
Oh, leave me now, cruel one,
And let me rest
