Learning of Love - A Reverse Poem
Hate
They say it is equal to love
The strength of passion in a different form
I feel only one emotion
When you whisper that you love me
Looming over my slumped body
I look up at you
Who opened my locked heart like a rosebud come spring
Thinking about those before you
Rough like the obstreperous waves of a tempest-riddled ocean
The feeling of your hand against my cheek
Soothing like the brush of tide on sun-kissed sand
When you whisper that you love me
I feel only one emotion
The strength of passion in a different form
They say it is equal to hate
Love
