For some reason I'm not hung up
I write because it helps my ignorance become bliss
I would say full interest was involved
But there were days the pen would die
This was a problem that itself solved
It's all my heart
The words flow which makes me mellow
Hey as a man with wishes
Instead of hate and sleeping with the fishes
I wish myself to be happy
That's all I wanted for me
No love songs and words that are sappy
I just love writing out my feelings
