Last Summer

My life was changed last summer

At a place called Turn-About Ranch

Some would call it a bummer

But for me, it was a second chance

I arrived scared, lonely, and torn

I was sick and tired of trying

I departed strong and reborn

My soul's change was refining

I arrived afraid to succeed

I was drained of any ambition

I departed compelled to lead

Armed with a brand new disposition

My life was changed last summer

At a place called Turn-About Ranch

Some would call it a bummer

But for me, it was a second chance
