A land not of mine
Spare me
As I only desire
Disire to be who I am seen not to be
To be apart of the American dream
To see my self success, but I fear and stress
In territory I have a brighter future in
My Land, far from where you can see
Yet raised in a place not of mine
A place where my dreams can turn into reality
A chance of living a safer life
A place with significance of “yes I can”
And Far from my land where no assurance of my life exists
I will fight for my success and no longer fear or stress
From acceptance of a waste of breath
Now I no long need you to spare me a chance to live a successful life
In the land not of mine
Nor of yours.
