Land of Aus
Began a journey to the Land of Aus,
A girl traveled alone with no pause.
With hair dyed into the color of red-brown,
You could see it especially when the sun began to go down.
Normally wearing colors of black and gold,
Representing Wake Forest University, so it has been told.
Tall, mischievous, brave and true,
There was one thing that she aimed to do.
Fighting the wind, battling the rain,
She was not someone that was meant to be slain.
Because she was used to so much sleep,
Within the first few miles of her trek she began to weep.
Back home to Indiana she went,
To curl back into her bed, not a tent.
She couldn’t wait to go back to school, Or swim around in her grandparent’s indoor pool.
And so the story goes,
For the journey of a girl with a sunburnt nose.
