Koi In The Garden

Lilies sitting quietly

in the still water.

Suddenly, a flash of gold

glitters in the setting sun.

Then,

orange, white, red.

All of them come by

shyly saying hi.

A cluster of colors

glinting in the sun's dying rays

give life to

the quiet pond.

Suddenly, the garden

is full of life.
