kiss in the rain

thunder cracks

hiding under merchants racks

i see you hiding from the rain

but you do so in vain

i offer my arm

with my smile i disarm

take me by the hand

walking with you is so grand

caught in the rain

we try to restrain

i look into your eyes

our emotions start to rise

then we lean in

it may be a sin

yet one of bliss

and we kiss

right there under the furious rain

we try in vain

but ourselves we cannot restrain

we go inside the house

dry off your blouse

sit down by the fire

controlled by desire

we fall in love

as the ollive and the dove

i lean in

it may be a sin

yet one of bliss

and we kiss

i wrote this one about my girlfriend. the other day we got caught in the rain at albertsons and her family's apartment wasn't far away. so we walked and went inside started the fireplace and dried off. then we kissed. i love her very much and would like some feed back. thanks!
