Just Another Lemonade Case

They say that when life gives you lemons

To make lemonade.

But to tell you the truth,

I’m afraid.

What if I don’t want

To just do the average thing,

But instead work hard

To do what’s worth my reaching.

I want to teach the kids of this country

Not just for the paycheck,

But for a ministry.

I want to make a dent

In this crazy place,

Not just end up

With another lemonade case.
