Judgements

Just one look unhinges me.

Underlying judgements change futures, lives.

Doubt festers, stomachs drop, and fears soar.

Green, blue, hazel, brown eyes search.

Every acknoweldgement is met with a fidget.

Mind and body are either cocky or coward.

Everyday is go big, go home, or suffer.

No room. Nothing else in between.

Today I'm a model: a timid creature peacocking for social survival.

Someone might see through me tomorrow.
