Jersey Shore Unforgotten

There was a time when people gathered

At our jersey shore,

To walk along the beaches,

Gazing at the waves,

To create memories,

In the midnight haze.

Neon lights and screams of fun,

Just starting as the days begun.

Roller coasters and Ferris Wheels,

Learning how sunburn feels,

Tasty treats and stunning sights,

Watching fire works through the night.

To you jersey shore, you will be missed.

If we could think of all you brought us, it would make one great list!

Sadly that unfortunate event

Ruined places we always went

Wind, rain and sand

Destroyed our Jersey land

But there is no need to fear,

Workers, neighbors, and friends are here.

We will help you through this mess,

And as the days go by the pain will be less.

So Jersey Shore you will be strong,

Because we will help you carry on.
