And it’s time for a change, for me to start anew

Time to stop living without really thinking about what

The future will bring and just doing,

Just getting out there and doing what I need to do

Day dreaming and night time worrying will not

Get someone anywhere; you have to do your best

I thank you God for your help, not visible

To the naked eye, but I must do my part

As well, I cannot sit around and hope forever

I cannot just wade in the water

I have to take the plunge

I have to take my shot and be brave

With any challenge that I cross across

Those days of childhood play are over

It’s time to grow up…
