It Doesn't Matter

It doesn't matter how much I cry,

I could cry for days and it still wouldn't feel like enough.

It doesn't matter how much I look in the mirror and tell myself I'm smart or beautiful,

because I know they are lies.

It doesn't matter how many people say they are here for me if they never see my pain.

It doesn't matter that no one sees my scars or hears my cries.

I am alone.

Alone in a world filled with people.

Why don't they hear me? Why don't they see my blood and tears?

Why don't I matter? Shouldn't I matter?

I am invisible and yet people see me, just not me.

Death, hope, pain, peace, end, dreams.
