It doesn't matter...
It does not matter how many degrees I have, currently two.
It does not matter that I am currently a hard-working medical student.
It doesn't matter that I am an English proficient, law-abiding American citizen.
Like any other black individual living in America, I am vulnerable to
racial injustice, social inequality, and police brutality.
That, my friends, is the sad truth.
