The Island of Misfit Dreams

All I need is my brain.
To imagine my warm bed.
So I do not go insane.

I do not know how to explain.
I don't want you mislead.
All I need is my brain.

To imagine a friend to complain.
To talk about what we read.
So I do not go insane.

To figure out how to treat a sprain.
And not die of dread.
All I need is my head.

To figure out how not to live in vain.
To ignore what was left unsaid.
So I do not go insane.

To make the island my domain.
I must do as I said.
All I need is my brain.
So I do not go insane.
