The Island of life

On an island that no one knows

The seeds of sorrow a shipwreck sowed

To nip this off in the bud

Let me tell you what I love

The books of old would do just fine

To help me pass the spacious time

From the darkest night doth I read

These dusty tomes set me free

They break the chains that life hath made

And free me from this cage of pain

Forged from an aching heart bound to heal

With the doubt of life but death assured

Through these pages my mind does soar

To leave this cage forever more.
