Breath that hums soft and still

plays the silent drum

Your eyes that pierce the sky are filled

with ever lasting love

Down to your feet that soak with water

on a rainy day

But even the wettest fellow has love

that can’t drip away

 

I tap your name to mocking birds

and breath the breathe of life

And everyday were stepping in different directions

that takes flight

I don’t know what your days been like

but I think of you today

And it hurts to be apart from you

on this particular day

 

But you and I are strong and know

that spring creeps day by day

And the flowers bloom and speak to you

and tell you “you shall stay”

There are a thousand constellations

that know your name and smile

Because I’ll whisper them into their ears

so they can talk for miles
