Internal Bruises

Location

Hit me if you think that gives you strength
Don’t worry I have my body tied
I won’t leave
Why hit me? But not a man?
You’re too much of a coward I understand
Your satisfactions are my bruises
You smile because you know I feel useless
Your hands rip my fragile skin
Blood pores out while you grin
I cry not because of my physical suffrage
I cry because I have given up and lost my courage
The most penetrating bruises are internal
They last forever they are eternal
My heart’s internal bruises don’t have a cure
They will haunt me forever
They are hard to endure
My pain does not have any medicine
I’ve lost my strength and my innocence.
