INGLEWOOD 1994

Long days from eight to ten

Probably not going to be able to sleep again

Twelve midnight finally means to rest

Unless you are visited by an unwelcome guest

The night has just begun

Work day is finally done

The family is calm in bed

Another work day ahead

You find your bed

Yes, At last you rest your head

Small noises creep

No, All you want is to sleep

The doorknob is shaking

The windows are shattering

The air is faint

The baby is screaming

You raise your head and yell

You are faced with the demons from hell

They haunt the ones in suffering

You're on the floor struggling

The apparition is watching

The apparition is calling

The apparition is taunting

The apparition is warning

The walls continue to shake

You’re on the floor, awake

Crying and screaming

Wishing you were dreaming

The baby is alone

Lying in its throne

As the cradle rocks

The apparition talks

Whispers words of fear

Is the end near?

Words of the past

Memories of the ones who passed

The baby is quiet

The noises stop

Long nights from twelve to six

Who knows what will happen next.
