inFESTATION

They hate to see us

But they really hate how hard it is to get rid of us

They despise how fast we retaliate

Because it’s impossible to annihilate our infestation

We’re crushed under their weight

But their weight will be only their own downfall

Because they throw all that weight at us

And when they miss us, their spent

They collapse into the earth, stuck

As we tread free, let free

Multiply and double the numbers

So they spray their hate like pesticides

Try to melt us with their acids

Some of us take the hit and we reassemble

Ready to rumble and riot for our revolution

We start marching and that is our resolution

They take tour to settle score

Have us wiped off and rubbed off

Setting traps to answer back

But we avoid them and they fall on their own snare

Because with the realization they haven’t come up with

Is our advantage

The very point of the matter

That every dog trained for evil will eventually bite its master

Every tool constructed for evil will eventually kill its creator

Their last ditch attempt - a holocaust

Eventually this is how all aimed hatred ends

From prejudice to hostility to all-out war

So they throw their bricks

Pick up their sticks

Their quick fix

Pursue and ensue us with guns and eliminate us one by one

Many of us fell and we cried for the slain

But rest not in vain, they’ll see us again

Our whole army will be back, not with torches and forks

But with candle-lighters and peace signs

This is why they hate us, because we’re different, diverse

Designated to be distant, but alike-designed

So tell them to be armed

Because the rose will always grow with the thorns

The hurtful and the peaceful will always be bred in every generation

They will be the exterminators armed with their walls,

Their guns, weapons, and traps

Their marches, rallies, and propaganda

But that only encourages our infestation

There are forces I have foreboding and admiration for… things such as fate, God, and the boundaries of the human spirit. I do not fear bullies, tyrants, and cowards. These forces attack by control and power – they won’t kill us – only suppress us. These supernatural forces attack in the most private moments and leave no footprint – no bias – and by no human understanding. No force came before nor will any come after.  In retrospect, I fear no union, no order, no force, no man – but God.
