Infected
Her fingers had clawed desperately
To free herself from his struggling grip
He had somehow managed to secure around her wrists.
Nails blindly slashed through the dainty, pretty pictures
Of herself obsessively plastered all over the walls,
Accidentally tearing the mouths away
In an effort to get a grip on anything.
ANYTHING.
Reaching up,
snap snap.
Her mind goes blankets with pain.
pant pant.
His fingers had made quick work of her struggle,
Breaking her wrists as easily if they were a bird's fragile neck.
Far away from there,
She can hear herself screaming.
SAY SOMETHING
unzip unzip.
ANYTHING.
Her cries were reverberating in her head,
But she couldn't find her mouth
And had lost the will to scream.
shuffle shuffle.
SPEAK.
Her eyes fluttered shut,
Her body already pulsing with pain,
Tears escaping shakily
As she accepted that she could do no more
And that it was just the beginning.
Eyes focused on the ceiling,
She bade a silent goodbye
As she watched, with glazing eyes, the girl she was
Fly out the window to escape the horrors,
Never to be seen again.
nudge nudge.
pant pant.
tear.
break.
destroy.
Silence.
Shattered remnants of Dignity carry her on its back,
The shards glimmering wetly with
the viscious liquid pouring out of her.
She figures that her tears must be glasses,
for only she can see the numerous bruises
and cuts marring her skin.
Everyone else sees smooth, caramel skin.
No carved words
demeaning her with slurs of
"Whore" and "Slut".
She walks the hallways,
Books clenched ridiculously tight
As she weaves her way through the thickening crowds,
Having a panic attack almost every time
Another body brushes against hers.
She is an empty husk of a girl
with her once vital Dignity laying brokenly
and shredded at her quivering feet.
He had stolen the ripeness of her body,
Infecting her with a disease
That decimated all that she was
And made it rotten.
