i'm here because i'm supposed to be
what do I do when home isn't home
when home is with them and their smiles
and with 40,000 brothers and sisters
and with peace
and with happiness
and with gratitude
and with joy
and with love
so much love
so much that I'm absorbing it like a sponge
until my chest breaks wide open
but instead of blood
it's fireworks
and they are beautiful instead of terrifying
for once they are only beautiful
and for once I am only happy
and for once I cry because I belong
not because I don't fit in
and I don't think anyone
could wish for more
than this
