I'm Here.

I'm barely making it
but I'm here.
Sometimes I have to smile and fake it
but I'm here.

I have to remember that the struggle's only making me strong
I'm here.
I have to remember that God promised to never leave me alone
I'm here.

I suppose I should be grateful for everything I've got
I'm here.
I shouldn't focus so much on all the things I have not.
I'm here.

There are others struggling much more that me.
I'm here.
Ones struggling because themselves they can barely feed.
I'm here.

Then there are those, who are ill, sick, and not looking to get well.
I'm here.
So I shake off ungratefulness, 'n lift my hands to praise God just for being--
here.
