Illusion

Chasing goal after goal

Receiving short term pleasure

Seeking self control

Never fully grasping the treasure

Getting bigger and bigger

Some surprise themselves

Started off as a mud diggers

Ending up richer

Desperately aiming for pleasure though the mayhem

Some were obsessed with getting better

With their regretful memories haunting them

some succumbed to societial pressure

Both have the same end destination

What do they leave behind?

experience different sensations

Except The Long term peace of mind

The end latches onto them while they are on cloud 9

grabbing it's clutches on them

Stopping them from being blind

Realizing where they were

They wished they could turn back the time
